Belarus overcomes pandemic than Western countries. This was stated by Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with CNN. At the same time, he stressed that people in the country are treated according to the protocols of the World Health Organization. And the words about the bath and the leader were a joke. Recall that Lukashenko recently gave patients with coronavirus advice – drink a hundred grams of alcohol and go to the bath.
Lukashenko explained why his nation is more successful in fighting the pandemic. He believes that the health care system in Western countries is completely destroyed. But in Belarus it has survived, which is why doctors are more successful in treating the disease.
Another issue of concern to the CNN rapporteur was quarantine in Belarus. Lukashenko was accused of not taking the pandemic seriously. In response, the head of state called the introduction of quarantine abroad a “mass psychosis” and stressed that he did not want to participate.
The President stressed that mortality from coronavirus in Belarus is significantly lower than in the West. According to him, six to eight people a day die of coronavirus in the country. In the United States, mortality is a thousand times higher.
