Self-proclaimed Luhanská the People's Republic has announced that it is abolishing security guarantees for Ukraine on the contact line.
“On the Ukrainian side, a condition has been set – until the JCCC observer is released, we are withdrawing all security guarantees,” said Mikhail Filiponenko, LPR representative at the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination (JCCC).
An LPR repairman was previously detained on the contact line. In Ukraine, they said he was investigating abandoned positions in the Ukrainian armed forces.
LPR denied this information. They reported that their soldier had been confiscated by Ukrainian security forces while working at the “Pervomaisk – Zolote” checkpoint, which was coordinated with the OSCE.
