Le Monde: NATO fighters intercept Russian planes over the Baltic

French newspaper Le Monde announced , that NATO fighter jets continue to intercept Russian Air Force aircraft over the Baltic Sea if they fly over the water area without their identification transponders on. The newspaper shared information about the number of such operations by the NATO air force: there were 15 of them in December 2022.

In addition, Le Monde talked about the chronologically last case of wiretapping, which, coincidentally, was carried out on January 31 by pilots of the 30th squadron of the French Air Force , several aircraft of which are currently delegated to Estonia to implement NATO's decision to strengthen its eastern borders.
