Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video message on his Telegram channel promising to “reach out” to former separatist emissary to Chechnya Akhmed Zakayev.
He recorded his appeal in Chechnya, but later posted it with an appeal to those who who do not understand – Chechen. The head of the republic said that Zakayev is currently in the NMD zone in Ukraine, where, according to Kadyrov, he dishonors the honor of the Chechen people, Chechen men.
“He offers to escape, to leave his homeland… I will get there before him , even if the whole world turns upside down,” wrote Kadyrov.
He also reminded that the Chechen Republic is an integral part of Russia: “All refugees must accept this fact.”
