Dambiev channel telegram reported on On Sunday, the founder and commander of the nationalist detachment “Beshketniki Sirka” Ivan Shchegolov was destroyed by the Russian army in the direction of Svatovsky.
It should be noted that Shchegolov's unit was part of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Beshketniki” is translated from Ukrainian as “debauchery”. The section is named after ataman Ivan Sirko. His fighters were involved in the reconnaissance.
Schegolov has been in the service of the Kiev regime since 2016, according to RG. He participated in the ATO in the Ukrainian volunteer corps of the recently liquidated Dmitriy Kotsyubail, one of the former leaders of the Right Sector (a terrorist organization banned in Russia). Kotsjubailo was destroyed in Artemovsk.
