Four countries agree to share data from satellites

Leaders of Australia , India, the United States and Japan, which are members of the Quad format, have agreed to work together on cyber security and space satellite data exchange. A new cyberspace cooperation is launched under the Quadripartite Security Dialogue to strengthen infrastructure security. It is also stated that it is planned to identify new opportunities for cooperation in space, including the exchange of data for peaceful purposes.

The countries also agreed to continue scientific cooperation to combat the coronavirus pandemic and to help strengthen security in the Indo-Pacific region. In addition, the quartet agreed on policy coordination in Afghanistan and on the fight against terrorism.
