According to NHK, official Tokyo confirmed that the two missiles launched by the DPRK on Monday, March 27 landed outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan.
"Both were allegedly launched by North Korea on Monday, the ballistic missiles fell outside the exclusive economic zone of Japan, ” the report reads.
The country's Ministry of Defense is said to be currently investigating possible damage to Japanese aircraft and ships.
