US President Joe Biden believed that the International Criminal Court's issuance of an “arrest warrant” for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Children's Ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova is “justified.” This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the report of the Great House.

Biden admitted that Washington itself does not recognize the International Criminal Court, but its decision regarding the leadership of the Russian Federation “reasoned” and the position is “quite strong”.
Permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasiliy Nebenzya, in a speech at the UN Security Council, said that all the documents of the International Criminal Court for Russia are invalid and illegal. He also called the ICC a “biased, politicized, incompetent” organization, saying it had “once again demonstrated its inferiority”. According to Nebenzi, such decisions by the ICC look especially cynical on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the US invasion of Iraq.
