Belarusian citizens will be exempt from compulsory fingerprinting in Russia

Some categories of foreigners they may be exempted from compulsory fingerprinting and photography in Russia. This option is included in the draft decree of the Ministry of the Interior. We are talking about Belarusian citizens, children under the age of six and diplomats who have come to Russia for a long stay.

Military attachés, diplomatic missions and other foreigners with diplomatic passports and their family Members are exempt from fingerprinting.

All other foreigners will start undergoing mandatory registration from December 29. Migrant workers and ordinary citizens of other countries who have arrived in Russia for more than 90 days will have to take a picture and send their fingerprints.

Upon completion of the procedure, they will receive the corresponding document, usually in the form of a plastic card, the media will contain all the information about them.
