In Tel Aviv , shortly before 8:00 p.m. (coinciding with Moscow), when the announced ceasefire between Israel and the radical Islamic Jihad group (recognized as a terrorist group and banned in Russia) was due to begin, air raid sirens went off.

Local media reported , that there were no reports of casualties in the city.

Earlier it was reported that Israeli authorities had agreed to a cease-fire from a specified time. Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said that the objectives of the operation in the Gaza Strip had been achieved, so there was no point in continuing it. At the same time, Islamic Jihad did not immediately respond to the ceasefire proposal.

Al-Jazeera, citing Egyptian sources from the negotiating team, states that the conclusion of the ceasefire agreement is “already close”. .
