Konstantin Sivkov: first strikes will be on nuclear depots
In the event of a military conflict between Russia and NATO, the first targets for both sides will be nuclear weapons depots. This opinion was expressed by Doctor of Military Sciences Konstantin Sivkov.
In an interview with Ukraina.ru specialist suggested that military operations will first be conducted with conventional weapons.
At the same time, in his opinion, in terms of stockpiles and positions of nuclear weapons Sivkov added that if the United States deploys nuclear weapons in Poland, Russia will deploy another formation of Iskander missile systems in the Kaliningrad region or Belarus. The expert also doubted that Washington would take the move.
