Russian President Vladimir By decree, Putin recalled several senior Interior Ministry officials. So five generals lost their position.
These are mainly two deputy chiefs of the Moscow police – Andrei Ponorts and Natalya Agafieva. And two generals who held high positions in the central apparatus of the Ministry of the Interior were also recalled. One of them is Dmitry Sharobarov, who for more than ten years headed the main directorate of transport of the Ministry of Interior.
The dismissal also concerned & nbsp; Deputy Head of the Department of Civil Service and Staff of the Ministry of Interior, Major General of the Internal Service Vitaly Krasnov and Head of the Interior Ministry Police of the Southwest District Major General Yuri Demin.
According to Kommersant, a number of generals lost their posts due to the fact that a few years ago they vouched for the recent head of the Kamchatka police, who was prosecuted. Others are retiring, but by law they could serve more.
In early August, during a working trip to Kamchatka, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev introduced the new chief, Ivan Kokukhin, as the regional interior ministry. His predecessor Mikhail Kiselev was arrested for abusing the service. He was removed from office at the beginning of June.
